The earth is has the inner core and the outer core. the inner core is made out of solid iron not like the outer core that is made out of liquid iron. the mantle is made of rock and behaves weirdly so it is liquid and solid.
The crust is thinner than every other layer. We can walk on the crust.
Tectonic plates are of the Earth's crust all broken. earthquakes are formed when they rub against each other.
